Dr. Abul Hossain Khondokar is a respected judicial professional and social contributor of Bangladesh. He served with distinction in the judiciary as a Senior Judge and District and Sessions Judge, including his tenure as Senior District Judge of Feni. After retirement from judicial service, he has remained actively engaged in social and cultural initiatives and currently serves as the Chief Advisor of the National Committee for Preservation of Boat Race Heritage. He is also a Member of the Hamdard Board of Trustees.

Work experience

Dr. Abul Hossain Khondokar served as a Former Senior Judge and District and Sessions Judge in Bangladesh’s judicial system. Throughout his career, he presided over significant legal matters, ensured fair administration of justice, and upheld the principles of law and judicial integrity. His tenure as Senior District Judge of Feni further demonstrated his leadership in judicial administration and case management.

Following his judicial career, he assumed the role of Chief Advisor to the National Committee for Preservation of Boat Race Heritage, where he provides strategic direction for the protection and promotion of Bangladesh’s traditional boat race culture. In addition, as a Member of the Hamdard Board of Trustees, he contributes to governance oversight, policy guidance, and institutional development initiatives.
