Imam & Khatib

Mr. Md. Abdul Munayem is a respected Islamic scholar and religious leader serving as Imam and Khatib at BAF Central Mosque, Old Airport, Dhaka. He completed his MM and MA in Islamic Studies from the University of Dhaka (DU). With strong academic foundations and practical religious leadership, he has been actively engaged in spiritual guidance, community development, and Islamic education. He is also a Member of the Hamdard Board of Trustees.

Work experience

Mr. Md. Abdul Munayem serves as Imam and Khatib at BAF Central Mosque, Old Airport, Dhaka. In this role, he leads daily prayers, delivers Friday sermons (Khutbah), and provides religious guidance to the community. His leadership contributes to strengthening spiritual awareness and ethical values among congregants.

Beyond his responsibilities at the mosque, he is actively involved in Islamic education and community counseling.
